Dan Rocha was raised in Artesia. He spent his childhood and youth as most Artesia kids do, playing at Artesia Park, making fond memories at the city’s annual carnival, growing up beneath the iconic water tower, attending schools in the ABCUSD, witnessing the area development going from an agricultural area to a growing suburb, and the changing demographics which make Pioneer Boulevard the most diverse street in the entire nation.
